Goddess Trance Dance!
The trance dance has long been a shamanic tradition for drawing upon the power of guides, power animals, and attaining altered states of awareness. In the trance you may receive messages to specific questions in your mind, healing, and possibly information of things to come. We’ll play with some simple moves designed to help you connect with your body and natural rhythm. After that we’ll dance to music selected to bring you closer to your Goddess self. Bring water and a scarf or veil (some will be available) to this evening of communion with the Divine Feminine through body movement. For those of you experienced at trance dance, bring also your blindfold.

Mabon(may-bon), also known an the Autumn Equinox or Harvest Home, marks the second of the three main harvests: the apple or wine harvest. This is a time of thanksgiving and contemplation; a time when nature is in full bloom and heavy with the bounty of the Goddess. Night and day are now in balance. From this time on days will become shorter and shorter. But we do not mourn the dwindling sunlight because as the Wheel turns, we know that all endings are merely new beginnings, and the light shall return. The God in his aspect as the Wise Sage, begins preparations for Samhain and his journey into Death. For the Goddess, this is a bittersweet time. Though she rejoices in the earth's bounty, She knows that she will soon bid fairwell to the God and begin her lonely reign as the Wise Crone.
Join us for this magical evening celebrating the 2nd harvest (Autumnal Equinox) and the abundance of the Full Moon!
