This is a coven sized Book of Shadows created from White Oak with the Tree of Life hand carved on the cover. This book was donated to San Diego Pagan Pride in 2007.
Oak is the Ancient tree of druids and one of the fairy triad (along with Ash & Thorn). It embodies great wisdom and strength due to the tree's longevity. The Oak is the tree of endurance and triumph and embodies truth, steadfast knowledge, and protection. It is also a wood of sacrifice; the guardian and liberator. Oak is used in spells for strength, endurance, power, triumph, dominion, prosperity, fertility & abdundance, lust and stamina. It is ideal for the construction of any tool that needs the male influence such as athames, certain wands and staves.
