This particular Book of Shadows was created as a gift to Tree of Life co-owner Diana Dismone. It is hand carved from Purple Heart Wood with brass hinges. The binding posts are expandable, so you can add extra pages when needed. Note the complexity of the root system in the tree hand carved on the cover.
A spiritual wood, purpleheart is excellent for use in divination magic. It also enhances energy dealing with creativity and knowledge.
