Handcrafting Your Own
Book of Shadows
with Carol "Joysprite" Holaday
What better way to add energy to all of your Craft activities than to put all of those sacred thoughts and favorite rituals and recipes into a magickal Book of Shadows that you have made with our very own hands?
Those who attended this workshop left with their very own hand crafted, hand bound, Magickal BOS with a cover decorated themselves, an attractive fly-leaf, and plenty of pages for them to fill. Each book of shadows was expandable, allowing the students to add pages as they needed.
Students were able to choose from several patterns and colors of fabric for thier covers, and were given a wide variety of decorations to add where they wished. Then Carol led everyone step by step through the bookbinding process.
And everyone had fun!
At the end of class, everyone was pleased to have a book of shadows or journal that had the added benefit of being made by hand by themselves!
